Here is  the first major FA Cup eBthe first FACupook delivered in pdf format.   WW Capt-1893This super 90 page “book” charts the early history of the FA Cup as seen through the writings of the famous CB Fry.  The picture shows the Wolves strip for the 1893 captain.  The book is called The Teams That Won the World’s Greatest Football Competition 1871-1901.  C B Fry was a celebrated footballer (appearing in the 1901 Cup Final for Saints), world record long jump holder, capped by the Barbarians, but was most famous as  a Cricketer captaining Sussex and England.

About the book:  Wolves won our first ever FA Cup final in 1893.
